The Rice New Energy Fund (RNEF), founded in August 2021, is a student-led organization that provides Rice undergraduates with hands-on experience in energy-focused investment and analysis. Created to bridge the gap between academic research and real-world exposure to the energy transition, RNEF empowers students to actively engage with one of Houston’s most critical industries, the shift to a low-carbon economy.
