The Rice Green Fund: Fueling Campus Sustainability
Launched in 2014, the Rice Green Fund empowers students, staff, and faculty to turn bold sustainability ideas into real-world impact. Managed by the Office of Sustainability, the fund supports:
- Campus greening projects and infrastructure
- Environmental events and programming
- Student-led sustainability organizations
- Internships with the Office of Sustainability
- Innovative initiatives that advance Rice’s climate and environmental goals
Whether it’s planting pollinator gardens, hosting climate action workshops, or piloting zero-waste programs, the Rice Green Fund helps bring sustainability to life across campus.
