This summer, Rebekah is continuing her work restoring the 3-acre Harris Gully Natural Area as an urban pocket prairie on campus. Rebekah is a rising senior studying biological sciences and environmental science, concentrating in ecology and evolutionary biology. She hopes to pursue a career in conservation research in the future. She is involved with Rice Environmental Club and serves as an EcoRep at Baker College, promoting sustainable living there. In her spare time, Rebekah enjoys hiking, trying her best at gardening, and learning more about the wonders of space.
